Celeste Quintero

Celeste Quintero is a high school math and ethnic studies teacher at an independent studies charter school in the High Desert of California. Celeste is dedicated and passionate about creating math and Ethnic Studies curricula that are culturally and community-responsive, trauma-informed, action-based, and embed social-emotional learning components.

Celeste is a proud mother of two wonderful daughters who inspire and fuel all her endeavors. With the unconditional support of her husband and family, Celeste has earned a Bachelor of Arts in Chicano/a Studies from the University of California, Riverside, a Preliminary Teaching Credential in Foundational Mathematics, a Master of Education with a Specialization in Teaching Mathematics, and a Master of Arts in Social Emotional Learning, all from National University.
