Jorge is a dedicated educator with 13 years of experience teaching World History, Government, Economics, and AP Government. A proud first-generation college student, Jorge grew up in Compton and earned a bachelor's degree from California State University, Northridge (CSUN) and a master's degree in education from California State University, Dominguez Hills (CSUDH). Additionally, Jorge holds a certificate in Ethnic Studies from CSUN.
As a Chicano with roots in Jalisco and Zacatecas, Jorge brings a rich cultural perspective to the classroom. Currently teaching in Inglewood, Jorge is passionate about integrating social consciousness and ethnic studies into the curriculum to empower students with a deeper understanding of government and economics. Married and a father of three boys, Jorge continues to inspire and educate the next generation with unwavering dedication and love for teaching.
